PLANNED LITTER SPRING 2025
PLANNED LITTER SPRING 2025
Hi, we are Chris and Billie Tucker. Since I (Billie) was a little girl, I had a love for all animals. My first pet was Susie, a black lab. Susie and I grew up together. She showed me love and compassion that grew my love for animals ever since. After Susie passed my parents got me Morris, my first cat. Unlike dogs, cats show you a different side of love. It didn’t matter where I was at in the house or what I was doing, Morris always wanted to be around me. Sleeping up by my head was his favorite place to sleep. One day my dad came home with a pet rat (Frenchie) my dad’s friend got cancer and was not able to care for his pet anymore. As soon as my dad brought Frenchie home, I fell in love. He was different than my other pets but nonetheless he became my new pet. After I moved out and started a little family of my own, I devoted my time to my 3 kids. Until one day I got a call from my mother-in-law, someone she knew had a pet rabbit that needed to be rehomed. We took him in and called him Hubie. He was a litter box trained rabbit that had a cage, but spent most of his time hopping around the house. About a year later, I again got a call from my mother-in-law telling me that my daughter found a stray cat. We searched long and hard trying to find the owners, but with no luck finding them we took that young cat in. My daughter called her Ginger. Ginger is still with us to this day. She is a precious girl that honestly likes to be seen but not touched a lot. It’s her house and we get the privilege to live with her. Years later I met my new husband.
Since Chris was a little boy, he always had small dogs. As he grew up he started to look into the mini schnauzer breed. He first fell in love with the way that they look like a grumpy old man. After talking for a while, we finally made the decision to get our first mini schnauzer, Ace. We got Ace when he was 3 months old. The second I placed my eyes on Ace, I was in love. He brought joy and happiness to our little family. We decided to get Ace fixed because at that time we were not thinking about breeding dogs. Having Ace for only a few months we soon realized that he needed a playmate. That is when we got Rocky. We got Rocky from the same breeder, but they are not related. Unlike Ace, Rocky was a lot more reserved. Ace is a playful boy that loves playing catch and being active. Rocky is my little snuggle bug. He’s still very playful but would much rather snuggle up and get hugs and kisses. Again, we decided to get Rocky fixed because we were not looking at breeding dogs at that time. Having Ace and Rocky in our lives brings us true happiness. Our love for mini schnauzers continues to grow. Chris is an outside salesman for a trucking company and I worked at a dog daycare/boarding kennel. Even though Chris LOVES his job, I was able to bring Ace and Rocky with me to work so I felt like my job was the bomb!! Almost 2 years later the world was hit with Covid. At that time Chris and I made the decision that I would quit my 9-5 job and be a stay-at-home mom. I was able to be home with the kids while they were distance learning and still being able to take care of our fur babies. It was at that time that I started to explore the idea of breeding mini schnauzers. With Covid in full force we knew that it wasn’t the right time to start breeding dogs. We decided to move back to Minnesota and buy 5 acres of land for our family. We knew that our children and fur babies needed a lot of land to play on. After Covid started to die down my husband and I started throwing the idea out there about breeding mini schnauzers again. I spent countless hours doing research on breeding healthy dogs, because I didn’t just want to raise Mini schnauzers, but I want to make sure we are breeding healthy Mini schnauzers. We decided to leave it in God’s hands and that is when we found Bella. Bella is our princess, and she knows it. Unlike Rocky and Ace, Bella is a black and white mini schnauzer. The moment I brought Bella home, the boys took her in like one of their own. That was when we decided to start breeding Mini Schnauzers. Time passed by and then we decided to get a male Schnauzer, that is when Leo came. Leo is a Black and grey mini schnauzer. His nickname is kangaroo, because Leo loves to hop and bounce all over the place. Leo is our crazy boy, he enjoys playing with all animals, loves human interactions, truly enjoys being trained and brings joy to our lives every day. Since Bella and Leo were still puppies, we had time to just enjoy their presence in our life. We knew we wanted to breed them if they were healthy and fit to breed. We spend countless hours on training and loving our dogs. While we were enjoying our fur family, one day I came across another little Mini Schnauzer. I truly fell in love with her the second I saw her. With little convincing we got our 5th and final mini–Schnauzer Zoe. Zoe is our newest puppy. She is a black and white Schnauzer, just like Bella and Leo. Zoe is different than all our other mini-Schnauzers. Her personality is constantly changing. She has finally got her voice and has adapted into our family seamlessly. Zoe loves playing with her siblings. She has a little wobble to her butt when she is walking. HANDS DOWN the cutest thing in the world! There was little to no potty training we had to do with Zoe, she really learned from Ace and Rocky. Ace, Rocky, Bella, Leo and Zoe complete our fur family. (For now, ha-ha) We raise and breed all our mini schnauzers in our home. We find this works the best for us. We truly enjoy what our mini schnauzers bring to our family. All our dogs have been raised with children and cats. We are looking at expanding our house in the future, but for now it works great for us. We are constantly growing our knowledge on mini schnauzers so we can breed the healthiest dogs.
UPDATE!!!
I felt like our life was complete with our five Mini Schnauzers but of course I knew it wasn't. Bella had her first litter of puppies and two of them found AMAZING forever homes but we had two puppies left. Mohawk and Sleeves. As time went on Mohawk and Sleeves started to build a bond, a bond I have never seen before. I had a lot of people interested in them but something in my heart told me they had to stay together. As time went on I wasn't able to find someone who wanted two mini schnauzers so after talking to my husband and a little convincing we decided to keep them both. We renamed them, Luna and Storm (Stormy). Luna and Storm will be getting fix once they are old enough and we won't be breeding them. I can honestly say my fur family feels complete (for now)!
We are new to breeding Miniature Schnauzers. We fell in love with the breed about 5 years ago when Ace (Far left in Picture) joined our family. We have tossed the idea around ever since and are ready to make the world a better place, one mini schnauzer at a time!
We are going to breed the best line of Mini Schnauzers God will allow. We stay up to date on new healthy snacks, as well as new training techniques. We pour every ounce of love and energy we can into our animals and you will appreciate that in your new furry forever friend.
