PLANNED LITTER SPRING 2025
PLANNED LITTER SPRING 2025
We understand that sometimes people get into financial issues. Dogs can get a terminal disease, people move or whatever the situation may be. We will take the dog back. Doesn’t matter if your dog is 1 year, 5 years or 10 years old. PLEASE reach out to us if you received a dog from us and you are no longer able to care for it! For no additional cost, we will arrange a time and place for us to come get the dog, we will pay for all the transportation fees. We understand that sometimes there might be an emergency and you need the dog gone right away, again PLEASE reach out to us! We can try and arrange something fast. You might ask yourself why? First, we take great pride in our dogs. Second, we don’t promote dropping dogs off on the side of the road, abandoning your dogs for any reason, or bringing your dog to shelters (where we can step in and take them.) Third, since dogs (most pets) rely on a loving family to care for them and we have a lot of love to give, we would rather give them the love and care they need instead of the alternative. Unfortunately, at this time we won’t be able to take any dogs that were not purchased from us. Hopefully later we're able to open a retirement home on our property for all mini schnauzers that need a place to go. The steps we take if we do receive a dog back is…
Step 1, your dog will go straight into Quarantine (unless it needs immediate attention from a vet.) Quarantining the dog keeps the rescue dog and our fur family safe from any unknown disease it may or may not have and give it some time to get used to us.
Step 2, the rescue dog will go see our licensed vet and get any medical treatments it may need (we do ask if you have any vet records for your dog to be emailed over to our vet. This helps our vet be able to treat the dog better.) All the cost for any medical treatment is 100% paid for by us. We will also be setting up an appointment to get the new rescue dog fixed, if they are healthy enough to go through with the surgery (we leave that up to our vet. If for some reason the dog has an underlying health issue and no surgery or treatment is going to work, we will talk to our vet about the next step. The love we have for dogs is unconditional, but we also don’t want to see a dog suffering after doing everything possible for the dog.)
Step 3, after the dog has healed up from its surgery and cleared from our vet then we will start introducing the rescue dog into our fur family. This step may take some time depending on how much the rescue dog has been socialized with other dogs and humans. Since we do raise/breed our dogs in our personal home, there may come a time that we don’t have enough room. DON’T WORRY! If that day ever comes then that is when we will be starting our retirement home on our property for mini schnauzers. If the day ever comes that we build a retirement home/kennel for mini schnauzers that doesn’t mean they will be strictly in a kennel for the rest of their life! They will still see a vet on a regular basic, they will be socialized daily with humans and other dogs, they will be going on social outings with my husband and I, they will be going on daily walks and get the love and attention that all dogs should get. Email/ call for any information.
